Project Serve Our Soldiers (PSOS)
PSOS is a volunteer-led nonprofit that assists with meeting the social needs of Hawkins County military personnel who are deployed on both foreign and domestic soil and their families. This includes comfort boxes, letters, and cards to the military personnel and activities for families.
Mission: To provide comfort to Hawkins County actively serving military personnel and their families on foreign and domestic soil and help meet local community needs independently or in conjunction with other local organizations.
Volunteer Opportunities
What We Do
PSOS volunteers lead and participate in a host of activities throughout the year including:
Annual Fundraising Craft Fair
Packing and sending holiday boxes and cards to our deployed military.
Hosting a crafting Social Creative Days which is open to the public as well as our military families.
Fundraising events & activities sponsored by PSOS such as food concessions and the Memorial Day Hotdog Cookout for Hawkins County active military and veterans.
Making 20K PPE Facemasks in Hawkins County, TN
Volunteering with PSOS has provided an outlet to donate my skills to benefit servicemen and their families and has given me a circle of caring friends.
