The Mission, an outreach of Of One Accord Ministry, strives to support the community of Sneedville and Hancock County through various outreach projects, with an intense focus on helping those who are battling addictions and ladies who are facing unplanned or unsupported pregnancies.

Volunteer Opportunities

Thursday Night Mission Meetings

Join in fellowship with other attendees (This one is easy!). Provide a meal for a meeting - get your friends, church, or civic group involved. Help serve a meal. Start or lead a small group.

Knit Together

Help disciple through ladies' jail ministry. Provide goodie bags for inmates in attendance. Provide a meal for a meeting. Help serve a meal.

Youth Enrichment Program

Volunteer to help with food deliveries. Volunteer at our next outreach event (Check out our website to see any upcoming opportunities!). Lead a small youth group. Become a one-on-one mentor.

Pregnancy & Parenting Ministry

Other Opps

Attend our next community training event to learn more about how you can be proactive in your community! Help provide transportation to rehab facilities for individuals entering treatment. Have a community service project idea? Let us know and we'll form a team to get it done!

What We Do

Recovery

Weekly Mission Meetings focused on recovery, accountability, and discipleship. Thursdays 6pm Free Meal, 7pm Bible Study, 8pm Small Groups (when available).

Rehab Facilitation. We help place individuals into rehab programs at no cost to the individual or their family.

Jail Ministry. We build relationships with individuals in the justice system through our weekly Mission Meetings, Knit Together Ministry, and some off-campus events hosted by partner organizations.

Emergency Shelter. In progress. Temporary shelter may be provided in an emergency housing situation.

Pregnancy & Parenting

We provide pregnancy support and parenting classes

Knit Together Ministry is focused on providing positive supports to women who are in the justice system.

Youth Enrichment Program

YEP is a 3-tiered mentoring program focused on large group meetings/events, small groups, and one-on-one mentoring relationships. Includes formation of a Youth Board and Summer Feeding Program.
